Problems and decisions
A problem is a question your team works through: its options, arguments for and against, evidence and comments. A decision is the outcome you record on it, with the rationale and the conditions for reconsidering it.
After the first 3 decisions, Free keeps everything else: new problems, options, arguments, evidence, comments and votes, inviting members, agent access through MCP, AI runs while credits last, and deciding again a problem that was already decided.
Recording a decision on a further problem, exporting a problem's record and guest links need Team or Business.
How the free decisions are counted
A problem takes a place the first time a decision is recorded on it. Imported decisions and decisions drafted from code take places the same way. Deleting or reopening a decision does not give its place back, and deciding a reopened problem again takes no new place.
AI credits
Credits pay for AI runs, such as reviewing a discussion, drafting a decision or finding contradictions. A run costs the tokens it actually used, rounded up to whole credits and charged after it finishes. A run that fails costs nothing.
The cost depends on how much the run reads and writes. In our measurements, a review of a problem with 6 options and about 30 arguments and comments used 1–3 credits; longer discussions use more.
Free gives 100 credits once, to the first workspace a person creates; they are not renewed and do not expire. Team includes 1,000 and Business 3,000 plus 20 per paid person each billing period; unused included credits expire at the end of the period.
When credits run out
AI runs you start are refused and automatic runs are skipped until the next billing period, or on Free until the workspace moves to a paid plan. Everything else keeps working.
On a paid plan, an owner or admin can turn on additional usage at €0.04 a credit, with a monthly spending limit. It is off by default, and automatic runs never use it.
How Business is billed
Business includes 50 people; each further person active in the billing month adds €3. A person is active if they opened the workspace in the app that month, or if their AI agent reached Rationode through their own MCP connection. Guests and automatic AI runs never count.
Example: 62 active people in a month cost €149 + 12 × €3 = €185 for that month.
Prices are final. We are not a VAT payer, so no VAT is added. A business in another EU country that gives its VAT number accounts for VAT itself (reverse charge).
